Our Mission and Goals

MaNaSu Foundation is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Telugu literature and culture through four core pillars.

Preserve Iconic Works

We collect and digitize the complete works of great Telugu writers, presenting them in chronological order. These comprehensive collections ensure that classic novels, poems, and essays remain available to all, forever.

Cultural Translations

We translate significant works from other languages into Telugu, especially books that reflect the social reality and culture of Telugu people in historical times, enriching Telugu literature with diverse stories.

Digital Archives

We maintain a growing digital archive of over 130,000 books and 70,000 magazines. This archive is freely accessible to the public, underscoring our commitment to education and cultural preservation over profit.

Heritage Projects

Our initiatives extend to preserving other facets of Telugu culture. Project eChitrapuri archives vintage Telugu film songs, photographs, and audio recordings, converting them into digital format for everyone.

What We've Achieved

Since our inception in 2006 in Andhra Pradesh, our volunteer-driven movement has digitized over 25 million pages of Telugu print heritage—including rare books, magazines, and documents.

We established a dedicated digitization center in 2018 to scan and archive materials with the highest quality, training local youth in the process. All of our digitized works are provided free of charge as a public service.

Our catalogue now includes the collected works of literary icons such as Rachakonda Viswanatha Sastry, Sri Sri, Gurajada Apparao, and Kalipatnam Rama Rao, among others.
